What we do
Our Cubs meet every Friday night during term time between 18:45 and 20:15. We have around 25 Cubs as part in our pack, ranging between the ages of 8 and 10 ½ years old.
Our Cubs have taken part in activities as diverse as Dragon boating, abseiling, sledging, Archery, performing arts, climbing, visits and walking. As a Cub you can learn basic first aid, map reading, problem solving, teamwork and many other skills which will serve you well in later life. The new skills learned often lead to earning various badges. There’s something for every young person. It’s a great way to have fun, make friends, get outdoors, express your creativity and experience the wider world.
They also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of Cub Camp, sometimes the first time a Cub will be away from their family for the weekend in their lives. Sleeping outdoors in tents, activities with your friends, camp fire, the works!
